Princeton Exploration of Anomalous Reality

Exploring the edges of mind and reality.

PEAR Club is a Princeton student organization for serious, open-minded inquiry into consciousness, UAP, anomalous phenomena, and the nature of reality. We bring leading researchers to speak with us, talk through what we hear, and keep a public record of what we think.

    How we work

    Open-minded, and careful about evidence

    • Hear it firsthand

We invite the people doing the research and give them time to make their full case.

    • Argue in good faith

Members can be convinced, unconvinced, or undecided. Any position has to be defended.

    • Keep a record

Our meeting log and reflections are public, so anyone can check our reasoning.

1979–2007 PEAR Club takes its name from the Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research lab, which spent 28 years testing whether the mind can affect physical systems. Read the history and try the experiment →
